Can you elaborate on a couple of the terms that you used in your
Lattice use case?

I assume that both Taxonomy and Controlled Vocabulary are subtypes
of RIM:ClassificationScheme.  But what is a Semantic Object?

Also this is the second time someone has mentioned "UDEF Class of
application."  Can you say more about what is meant by that phrase?
