Subject: Re: [regrep-semantic] Government Computer News (GCN) Interview -Mentioned Our Work
Joe, Good points. The SCM noun use case definately handles the details via a TN to support elements/attributes/datatypes storage. I'm planning to have a draft of that fo mid-May timeframe. Right now we have just a strawman XSD - but no documentation to go with it - and of course the use case too. Thanks, DW. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chiusano Joseph" <chiusano_joseph@bah.com> To: "Duane Nickull" <dnickull@adobe.com> Cc: "David RR Webber" <david@drrw.info>; "SCM" <regrep-semantic@lists.oasis-open.org> Sent: Thursday, April 22, 2004 9:45 AM Subject: Re: [regrep-semantic] Government Computer News (GCN) Interview -Mentioned Our Work > Of course, adoption of ebXML Registry is a much easier process than with > many other types of open standards, as ebXML Registry is the only open > standard that provides the functionality that it provides > (registration/storage/discovery/maintainance of XML and non-XML > artifacts). > > And, as I was reminded at the XML.gov working group meeting yesterday, > lots of US federal folks are waiting for "native" handling of > fine-grained entities such as elements/attributes/datatypes/namespace > identifiers (my "big 4").
