Subject: Re: [regrep-semantic] Proposed EU address validation service

Peter,

I guess I must be registered as I'm one of the speakers!!

I do see my name on the participants list.

My session is on the 23rd @ 11:30 -
Model based approaches to semantic interoperability - challenges for
standardization

Look forward to seeing you there!

Cheers, DW.

p.s. If you are in Oslo on the 21st we're having a get together
at Tor's house prior to travelling up - we'll be presenting on EPR -
if interested let me know and I'll send you details.

Hi Farrukh:
One starting point would be to raise the issue at the Semantic
Interoperability workshop in Norway later this month [1]. There will be
representatives from the European Commission's eGovernment Unit there, with
whom I have been in touch in recent days...

Hans Aanesen will be there for the OASIS EPR-Forum, and I thought that David
Webber would come to, although I don't see him as registered. I'm still
waiting for a reply on funding to see whether I take part or not...

I think the key is demonstrating that there are generic, standards-based
technology solutions to the sort of issues that this sort of registry is
raising....

Peter

Hi Peter,

Hope all is well with you.
Thanks for sharing this. How do you suggest we get this work to leverage
our work on ebXML Registry standard?

Farrukh
