Not sure how related this is to this issue (if at all), but

UN/CEFACT‘s Business Collaboration Framework (BCF) makes reference to
UDDI (not ebXML Registry) in Figure 6 ("Web Services Standards
Overview") of the attached document (sorry for attaching, I could not
find a URL for this document). 

An interesting aspect is that the document also refers (generically) to
a "core component registry" (p.7), which cannot be accomplished with
UDDI:
