Event Registry (Fred Cummins Article, Intelligent Enterprise)

I recently read a good Intelligent Enterprise article[1] on ESB by Fred Cummins of EDS called "In Pursuit of Agility", where he depicts an "Event Registry" on p.2 (Figure 1) and describes its role on p.3. I thought of our standard in this regard, especially regarding the manner in which it was used during the XML 2003 interop demo (SARS/CDC).

 

Fred does not refer to our standard in connection with the Event Registry, but he must have been influenced by it as it is listed as a resource on p.4.
