Ah yes - it is from 2003. Despite the positive outlook I expressed in the article, the pilot never really got far off the ground due to (I believe) the fact that it was not funded by the federal government, and so the participants were not able to properly prioritize it.

I gather that the second link is from 2003.

It describes a pilot in the Fed.CIO Council XML WS WG.

How did that go?  Any results or lessons learned?
