Subject: Re: [regrep] JIRA Accounts created

Hi Mary -

I see - I was assuming that since I had logged in to access the OASIS
RegRep TC Wiki a few times, some level of privacy for TC work items was
required (my mistake - OASIS newbie)

I tried setting up a separate public read-only permissions scheme for
the REGREP TC project (our other JIRA projects need login protection)
and it looks like it works ok.
Read-only access is granted without requiring a login, and read/write is
reserved for those who have a valid login to the REGREPTC project. See:

  http://wxforge.wx.ll.mit.edu:8080/jira/browse/REGREPTC

I looked over the other requirements, and I believe that they are all
being met with the way JIRA is currently configured. If anyone sees a
discrepancy, let me know.
We will have to decide whether to include all members of the TC as
committers, rather than just the members who are actively working on the
draft, but that is a question for the next meeting, I think.

If we do end up using the tool, it is relatively straightforward to
create additional custom JIRA search filters if need be so the public
can easily find issues related to ebRS or ebRIM, for example. We can add
what's needed as we get more familiar with what is actually useful.

Cheers,

-Oliver
