Subject: Re: [regrep] Re: Your ballot "Submit OASIS ebXML RegRep Version 4.0 for OASIS Standard Vote" has passed

Dear Colleagues,

Having just received  our third "Statement of Successful Use"  from NOAA/GSD, I have just submitted the Candidate OASIS Standard (COS) Submission Request. Next, I will work with Chet to make sure that the submission is in good order.

If all goes well then OASIS will publish COS01 and start a 60 day public review. After the public review, depending upon the comments received, we will decide whether to request the final OASIS Standard approval ballot.

Congratulations to us all for reaching this milestone in our work on ebXML RegRep 4.

Dear Colleagues,

The next step is to submit a Candidate OASIS Standard Submission Request. I have that ready to be submitted but we are waiting on our third "Statement of Successful Use" of ebXML RegRep 4 specifications from NOAA. Until that is received we are unfortunately in a wait state. I will keep you posted on progress.

Lastly, if you have not commented on the following email, then please do (even if it is just a +1 ):

Members of the ebXML Registry TC,

Your ballot to submit ebXML RegRep version 4.0 as a Candidate OASIS
Standard has passed. Congratulations.

Per the OASIS TC Process section 3.4, your next step is to submit the
Committee Specification and supporting materials to TC Administration
using the TC Admin support request form at
. The requested items spelled out in the form are:

- Links to the Candidate OASIS Standard HTML version and editable
source version
- Certification that all schema and XML instances are well formed and
valid (this is a simple choice on the form)
- English-language summary of the specification
- A statement of relationship of this specification to other similar work
- Links to the Statements of Use
- Links to the announcements of public reviews and pointers to the
comment resolution logs
- Link to the ballot approve the specification as a Candidate OASIS Standard
- Links to votes and comments received in any earlier attempts to
standardize substantially the same specification (if any)
- Link to he publicly visible comments archive for the originating TC
- The length of the Candidate OASIS Standard public review if you wish
it to be greater than the required 60 days

Once we have this submission, we will prepare the Candidate OASIS
Standard from the Committee Specification and announce it to the OASIS
membership for its required 60 day public review.

Please let me know if you have any questions about the process or the
next steps.

Best regards,
