Subject: RE: [relax-ng] ns attribute

 Mike,
  From the RNG spec, pattern is optional inside the 'attribute pattern':
     <attribute name="QName"> [pattern] </attribute>
  It defaults to <text/>, I think.

In the NON-XML syntax, however, it's required:

   primary =
          ..
          | attribute nameClass annotations { pattern }

That's right. I forgot the WebDAV issue
(http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/relax-ng/200111/msg00059.html). We
are
not checking the URI. However, shouldn't it at least be

<define name="common-atts">
 <optional>
  <attribute name="ns"><text/></attribute>
 </optional>
 ...

instead of just a stub?

-Mike

Some URI schemes break the official definition of anyURI, so we can't
use it.
