This sounds like a great addition.  Have you done any measurements at all?

- How much faster is it?

- Is it faster for some kinds of grammar/instance? If so, which?

- How big is the runtime?

What's the algorithm?  Has it changed from what Makoto originally proposed? 
(I guess I should just RTFS)
