Offline, it has been recommended to me to have another Spec SC meeting around the beginning of August to process any CRs we can't resolve over e-mail that we get during July.  Of course, we have to talk about this in the Spec SC first, but it is something for the RLTC to consider when it makes a recommendation on how SCs should meet and when the RLTC will meet.

Item #1: RLTC Approval of Change Management Process

The Core and Standard Extension Specification SC (Spec SC) is pleased to announce their approval of a change management process consisting of two files: a change management process document (cmp.doc) and a change request template (cr.dot).  These are now submitted to the RLTC for approval at the next call.  As soon as they are approved by the RLTC, the Spec SC will be ready to accept change requests and asks the help of the RLTC in publicizing this.

Item #2: RLTC Meetings

The Core and Standard Extension Specification SC (Spec SC) would like to have a subcommittee meeting on September 12th and 13th.  (Backup dates are September 30th and October 1st, though these are much less desirable.)  The Spec SC would like to know if the RLTC is interested in having a general meeting during these dates or has any recommendations for the scheduling of SC meetings.
