However, it turned out that the intention of the issue was not to replace XSD by OWL, but to make an additional view in OWL. In the call of March 16 we decided against this additional OWL view, because it would be a lot of work and its value is not known at the moment. Also, it would a lot of trouble to keep both views in sync.
There is a dependency with issue SRAMP-25 (http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/SRAMP-25) as OWL could make it easier to solve this issue. Before this issue will be closed we need to know whether or not SRAMP-25 requires the use of OWL.
