This issue addresses the problem where multiple related artifacts are published to the repository, but all the relationships may not be able to be verified at the time of publish.
An example:
A.wsdl references B.xsd and C.xml. The user publishes A.wsdl, but B.xsd and C.xml are not published in the repository. Therefore, the relationships at the time of publish A.wsdl can not be verified. The question now becomes, how do we handle this situation?
Possible answers:
1) Fail the transaction and require that the publisher of the artifacts publish in such an order that the references can be verified
2) Set a flag on the first publish that denotes that we will not verify the relationships until the end of the publish of all artifacts. Then on the publish of the last artifact the flag would not be set and the verification would take place at that time.
3) Publish the initial A.wsdl artifact and return a warning that some of the references could not be verified.
These were just a few of the options discussed in the February 15, 2012 conference call.
This needs to be fleshed out and a proposal made to the group for inclusion in the specification.
