Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (SRAMP-1) Representing Relationships

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/SRAMP-1?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=29839#action_29839 ]

Kurt Stam commented on SRAMP-1:
--------------------------------

As part of s-ramp-1

1. "Proper casing of elements, relationships, etc in XSDs"
I will make sure we follow whatever convention we settle on. I was hoping to find some sort of OASIS standard, but I don't think there is. All I came up with is this
http://xml.coverpages.org/camelCase.html which states what individual projects use. Most projects seem to use

Element names SHALL be in UCC convention (example: <UpperCamelCaseElement/>).

Attribute names SHALL be in LCC convention (example: <UpperCamelCaseElement lowerCamelCaseAttribute="Whatever"/>)

2. "In the soamodel.xsd the comment mentions a DocumentArtifactType, but then it references a DerivedArtifactType." I will fix the comment.

> This was Issue-001 from the contributed issues document.
> The relationships as described in the Foundation Document may or may not be able to be fully represented in schema. The relationships need to be looked in to and evaluated to make sure that all relationships defined in the foundation document and possibly the atom document can be properly described in the XML Schemas. If they can not be properly described then we may need to explore other mechanism to better model these relationships.
