Hello everyone,
As a work item from yesterdays meeting I am updating the original plan for standardization of the S-RAMP specifications. Please see the updates below and post back with any comments that you may have. We will discuss this at the next meeting on May 2 and will vote to make the proposed amendments.
Standards Track Work Products progress as follows:
1. Committee Specification Draft,
2. Committee Specification Public Review Draft,
3. Committee Specification,
4. Candidate OASIS Standard,
5. OASIS Standard,
6. Approved Errata.
Based on these guidelines I have created the proposed timeline to move the S-RAMP specification through this process.
January 30 - March 16:
Integrate resolved issues in to current committee specification draft
March 17 - March 25:
March 17 - May 24:
Prepare Committee Specification Public Review Draft for posting
March 26 - April 26:
May 25 - June 22:
Committee Specification Public Review Draft is posted for an initial 30 day public review
April 27 - June 11:
June 23 - July 13:
Resolve any comment that were received during public review and prepare another Committe Specification Public Review Draft for Public Review. The Public Review Draft must undergo a review cycle where no changes were made based on comments received before it can be considered as a Committee Specification
June 12 - June 27:
July 14 - July 30:
Committee Specification Public Review Draft is posted for a second time for a 15 day public review cycle. This may or may not be needed based on the first public review.
July 4:
August 1:
Committee Specification goes to a vote for approval.
July 11 - September 5:
August 8 - October 3:
Committee specification, if approved, is submitted as a Candidate OASIS Standard to TC Admin. The Candidate Standard undergoes a minimum of a 60 day public review and then finally a membership wide vote for approval as an OASIS Standard.
