The Atom Binding spec's "3.3.1 Stored Query Entry Documents" section mentions supporting stored query templates and parameter substitution.  However, it does not specify how the parameter values should be given when the query is executed.  If it's a notional concept, then explicitly state so.  Otherwise, require something like:

query/{queryName}/results?param1=value&param2=value
