Hi all,

as per our call, here is an updated agenda:

+ SAF relationship to rules engines, event processing, etc.
   - differentiators (collaboration? cross-domain?)
   - clarify SAF nature
+ use cases
   - interactions and pre and post conditions
   - syndromes (what we are looking for)
   - symptoms (to satisfy our syndrome needs)
   - protocols
   - discuss syndrome templates/generic syndromes + syndrome instantiation
+ interfaces
   - requirements based on the use cases
   - catalogue authoring (+ sharing?)
   - catalogue contents
   - syndrome instantiation and manipulating syndrome templates
+ profile
   - decide on general outline
   - discuss scope, purpose, similar specs
   - extract required extensions, restrictions etc from the generated use case symptoms, syndromes, and protocols (and then formalize them)
   - discuss taxonomy
   - start writing up a bit! the more the merrier!
+ discuss a committee draft document/presentation on what we do for evangelizing/sales pitch
   - discuss charter clarification to reflect this

Please feel free to add/modify anything you feel necessary.

Cheers,

Stavros

Subject: RE: [saf] Preliminary F2F agenda

I’d like to add a session near the end (after we’ve articulated Cloud and other things more) where we update the presentation developed last year to include Cloud and the latest thinking and discuss some outreach/education plans, too. I am discussing SAF with another vendor this week and all our material is somewhat out-of-date.

Thanks,

Paul

Subject: [saf] Preliminary F2F agenda

Hi all,

in trying to generate feedback about the ff meeting agenda, here is a first effort:

+ use cases
   - interactions and pre and post conditions
   - syndromes (what we are looking for)
   - symptoms (to satisfy our syndrome needs)
   - protocols
   - discuss syndrome templates/generic syndromes + syndrome instantiation
+ interfaces
   - requirements based on the use cases
   - catalogue authoring (+ sharing?)
   - catalogue contents
   - syndrome instantiation and manipulating syndrome templates
+ profile
   - decide on general outline
   - discuss scope, purpose, similar specs
   - extract required extensions, restrictions etc from the generated use case symptoms, syndromes, and protocols (and then formalize them)
   - discuss taxonomy
   - start writing up a bit! the more the merrier!

thoughts? We'll discuss this in today's call as well.

Cheers,
