Yesterday I shared some examples of a new proposal for defining region properties. One of them was wrong. Here is the correction:

5. If endColumn is missing, it defaults to one more than the number of characters on the last line of the region (excludingthe newline sequence).

EXAMPLE: Suppose line 12 contains "abcd\r\n" (the four characters "abcd" followed by the two-character newline sequence "\r\n"). Then the region startLine = 12, startColumn = 2 contains the three characters "bcd". The implied value of endColumn is 5.
