I pushed a change draft for Issue #292: “Specify a default for result.rank”

We will move its adoption at TC #29 on Wednesday December 12^th.

Please read the discussion thread in the issue to see how we concluded that 0.0 (lowest rank) was a reasonable default value. If your short on time, my last comment sums up the argument.
