Subject: [NEW ISSUE] Schema definition for Component, Component Reference @autowireattribute is incorrect
- From: Mike Edwards <mike_edwards@uk.ibm.com>
- To: "OASIS Assembly" <sca-assembly@lists.oasis-open.org>
- Date: Tue, 6 Nov 2007 15:43:28 +0000
(Issue brought forward from OSOA)
Line numbers all refer to the 1.0 SCA
specifications published on www.osoa.org
RAISER: Mike Edwards
DESCRIPTION:
The XSD definition for @autowire does not capture its
semantics correctly.
The semantics are:
a) If @autowire is present on a ComponentReference, its value (true/false)
applies
b) If @autowire is not present on a ComponentReference, its value is derived
from the the value on its containing Component element, or, if not present
there, from the value on its containing Composite element.
c) If no value for @autowire is present on either the Component or Composite
elements, the default value of "false" is applied
