Subject: RE: [sca-assembly] ISSUE 15: Unclear how Composites are discovered when Referenced
I believe this is covered by section 1.10.3: Installed contributions provide a context in which to
resolve qualified names (e.g. QNames in XML, fully qualified class names in
Java). If multiple dependent contributions have exported
definitions with conflicting qualified names, the algorithm used to determine
the qualified name to use is implementation dependent. Implementations of
SCA may also generate an error if there are conflicting names. So, as long as you don’t have conflicting definitions within your
installed contribution, you find the composite by finding the one composite
with the right QName that is defined in this contribution (and all included
contributions). It doesn’t have to be at any particular location. Michael -----Original Message----- http://www.osoa.org/jira/browse/ASSEMBLY-15 On Nov 6, 2007, at 7:38 AM, Mike Edwards wrote: > > (Issue brought forward from OSOA) > > Line numbers all refer to the 1.0 SCA specifications published
