Resolutions

Minutes

Scribe: Bob Freund

Opening

Roll; meeting is quorate 26 of 33 voting members

Agenda is agreed
Resolution: m:Booz s:Beiseigel Minutes of last meeting are accepted w/o

New Issue Assembly-28

Peshev introduces the new issue
Resolution: m:Peshev s:Henning New issue Assembly-28 accepted w/o

New Issue Assembly-29

Dieter introduces the new issue

This may be solvable with a BPEL extension, but only for BPEL processes that are aware of SCA
Karmarkar:
It may be possible to use the metadata extention of an epr to point to multiple bindings
Edwards:
I am not getting a clear feeling that this can be solved in assembly

Several voiced oposition to the motion proposing that it may be best moved over to the BPEL TC
Resolution: m:Koenig s:Furniss new issue Assembly-29 defeated w/o
Action: Dieter to open the issue in the BPEL TC

New Issue Assembly-30

Edwards:
Introduces the new issue as proposer of the issue
Resolution: m:Edwards s:Rutt New Issue Assembly-30 accepted w/o

New Issue Assembly-31

Edwards:
This issue was raised by Mike Rowley who is not on the call

... given his absense, we will hold this over

New issue Assembly-32

Moberg:
Introduces his issue

... there are four errors in the schema detected by oXygen 9 which he enumerated
Resolution: m:Moberg s: Malhotra New Issue Assembly-32 accepted w/o

New Issue Assembly-33

Dieter introduces his issue
Dieter:
The BPEL TC considered this issue and referred it to the Assembly TC
Henning:
This seems to be a request to mitigate a situation that exists independent of SCA
Bob:
as the WS-Addressing chair, it would be neat to ses the async feature used
<anish>
y, i have proposed the use of anon ws-addr policy assertion
<anish>
... and the modified HTTP binding that allows one to send a 202 status code
<charltonb>
+1 to the use of anon ws-addr assertion
<Sanjay>
would we need a SCA policy intent for the interface designer to instruct the use of the corresponding ws-p assertion?
<Sanjay>
basically, if this is a general problem that is solved by ws-a, what do we want the SCA specs to do here?
<anish>
sanjay, like a 'long-running-req-res' intend?
<anish>
so any binding that does not allow that cannot be used?
<Sanjay>
y, something like that
Resolution: m:Koenig s:Freund New Issue Assembly-33 accepted w/o
<anish>
i would then say that any binding that supports ws-addressing will certainly allow that
Edwards:
Given that there is only one minute left in todays call, we will move unacted agenda to next week

straggler roll

Adjourned
