Subject: Action id=2008-09-16-2 - Romotable and Local interfaces description

Folks,
As part of action id=2008-09-16-2
I was asked to check through the
specs for definitions of
remotable interfaces. This email
summarizes my findings and completes the action:
1) SCA Assembly spec (ref CD-01 Rev2)
The main text dealing with Remote and
Local interfaces is at the start of Section 8.1, in lines 2388 - 2393.
This section looks fine to me.
There is a section which deals with
WSDL interfaces specifically - 8.4 starting on line 2576.
This section says nothing about Local
and Remote, which I think is an omission.
I suggest adding the following text
after line 2581:
"All WSDL interfaces are Remotable."
2) Java Common Annotations and APIs
spec (ref sca-javacaa-1.1-spec-WD04.doc)
This deals with Remotable interfaces
in Section 2.1.2 lines 65 - 76 and Local interfaces
in section 2.1.3 lines 77 - 93.
These sections seem comprehensive to
me.
3) C++ (ref sca-cppcni-1.1-spec-cd01-rev1.doc)
Remotable and local CPP interfaces are
described in
Section 2.1.1 lines 117 -138
Section 2.1.2 lines 139- 140
these seem comprehensive
4) C (ref sca-ccni-1.1-spec-cd01-rev1.doc)
Remotable and local C interfaces are
described in
Section 2.1.1 lines 86 - 107
Section 2.1.2 lines 108 - 109
these seem comprehensive
