Description:
The current section doesn’t meet the requirements of a
conformance section for a spec. It makes no statements about what a vendor
and/or user must do to claim conformance to the specification, and does not
define whether optional MAY and SHOULD features have to be implemented or not.
I addition there is paragraph that does not belong in a conformance section (the
one labelled ASM130001) and should be moved to another part of the
specification.
Proposal:
For each of our
conformance targets, determine whether it makes sense for a product and/or tool
to want to claim conformance to that target and write rules accordingly.
