Subject: ASSEMBLY-121 Conformance to OPTIONAL Normative Statements - Proposal
All, attached is a proposal for ASSEMBLY-121. I've tried to "enter into the spirit" of the OASIS guidelines for the Conformance section, although this may be more than we need for the SCA Assembly specification as we don't really have too many optional statements. If this is considered to be excessive we still need to state how the optional statements are handled. For simplicity this could be a restatement of the RFC2119 definitions and a "blanket" statement saying vendors can implement the optional statement as they choose. N.B. This is based on the document approved as resolution of ASSEMBLY-122. This is necessary as that issue changed a significant number of the optional normative statements. Best Regards, Eric.
