Test Assertions and Test Cases

Some re-work has been done to accomodate OASIS namespace standards
There are new versions of the Test documents which are linked out of the agenda
Edwards:
I would be keen to get the test documents and artifacts out for public review and would like to discuss this
Karmarkar:
concerning technology independence, I note that there are some Java specific artifacts in various tests
Aupperle:
I have produced C and C++ versions of all of the tests that can be tested

...there are two cases that cannot be tested in C and three in C++ due to language restrictions
Shock and AWE spreads across the TC due to the scope of the test cases
I wonder if the document might be a manifest pointing to the documents
Is there a fragment scheme for zips?
There was a wide-ranging discussion of a mechanism for packaging the large number of files
<anish>
i think if the TC admin wants to unzip it in a directory that would be ok, but i think the zip file should also be made availbale
<Bryan Aupperle>
scribe needs to step away for 2 minutes
<Bryan Aupperle>
These are the relevant lines from the message we have been discussing.
back
<anish>
Resolution: m:Booz s:Aupperle accept Test Assertions ver 18 as CD01 w/o
<anish>
how long do we want the PR to last?
<anish>
60 days i assume
<anish>
<anish>
<Dave Booz>
60 days seems right
<Bryan Aupperle>
It would be the first PR so I believe 60 days is the minimum.
Resolution: m:Booz s:Aupperle Accept Test Cases version 24 and associated artifacts as cd01 w/o
Resolution: m:Aupperle s:Plamen Publish cd01 of test assertions and cd01 of test cases for a 60 day public review w/o
<anish>
administrivia: we should consider the two documents as separate artifacts when raising new issues. Probably will require new components in JIRA

Neue Issues

New Issue Assembly-148 Rebuttal: Against the use of portability and functions as reasons for requiring one of the existing 4 languages http://www.osoa.org/jira/browse/ASSEMBLY-148

<anish>

<anish>

Resolution: m:Nash sBooz: re-open Issue-132 re-opened with the comment contained in Issue-148 w/o
Resolution: m:Freund s:Booz close Assembly-148 as a duplicate of Assembly-132 w/o

<Simon Nash>
