Subject: ASSEMBLY 165: Poor wording in descriptions of TestCases ASM_8009 & ASM_8018- Updated Proposal
- From: Mike Edwards <mike_edwards@uk.ibm.com>

Folks,
Here is an updated proposal for Issue
165.
The idea here is that testcases ASM_8009_TestCase
and ASM_8018_TestCase each test one aspect of assertion ASM-TA-8011
8009 tests the reference aspect of ASM-TA-8011,
while 8018 test the service aspect.
- this clarifies the apparent redundancy
of 8018 mentioned in previous discussions of this issue.
With this in mind, here is my amended
description text for these 2 testcases:
8009
Tests that where the <interface/>
element of a reference in the componentType of an implementation does not
declare a callback interface,
then the corresponding reference element
of the component using the implementation also does not declare a callback
interface in its <interface/> subelement
8018
Tests that where the <interface/>
element of a service in the componentType of an implementation does not
declare a callback interface,
then the corresponding service element
of the component using the implementation also does not declare a callback
interface in its <interface/> subelement
Yours, Mike.
