Subject:
| [sca-assembly] NEW ISSUE: Define
how Policy works for SCA Eventing |
In the current SCA Assembly 1.2 draft, intents and
policySets are allowed on Consumers, Producers as well as on Channels.
This functionality corresponds to the manner in which
Policy is enabled on services and references. But events are different
and the connection
between producers and consumers is looser than the connection between services
and references
and the concept of matching policies across the wire may not make sense
for events.
The motivation behind this issue is to start discussion on how Policy would
work for
events and whether it should work differently than for services and references.
All the best, Ashok
