5. News on compliant implementations
Mike E: We are aware of the Switchyard ESB product that does use the SCA specifications - but they are not doing any conformance testing
...Otherwise, there is no change in status relating to compliant implementations
6.How long we're going to keep this TC going?
Jeff: Been in limbo for 1.5 years
- nothing has been happening
- look to close the Assembly TC & the others
Martin: Nobody has raised bugs on the lists
- so even if people are using the specs, they are not raising errors either
Danny: Process wise I see 3 options a) stay in this limbo b) make efforts to get more compliant implementations c) close the TC
- agree with Jeff that it might be worth closing up shop
MOTION Jeff moves to close the TC, Bryan 2nds
Discussion:
Danny: we should do this in conjunction with the other TCs
Martin: Amend the motion to make this an electronic ballot, Ashok seconds

Jeff: There is no obvious procedural way to handle this between the TCs
- but the membership is pretty similar
Eric: There is a compliant implementation out there, is there some way to capture the existence of the specifications?
Jeff: The committee drafts etc do not simply go away when we close the TC - they stay
Motion is Accepted: a motion to close the TC will go for an electronic ballot

Nothing scheduled as dependant on result of the ballot from above.
