I still don't really see the issue with additional symlinks for the new
form of the latest URLs - we're only talking 3 links, and the old forms
could be pointed at the new forms as a one-off operation.
However if there's no way that can be done, it looks like we are stuck
with our choice of "latest" url file name for the lifetime of
SCA 1.1, which is unfortunate.
That leaves us with a couple of choices:
1) Just use the old "latest" URLs; Update the CD02 packages to
use to "old" form of the latest URL, and just keep using that.
2) Stop using the new file names altogether; update the CD02 packages to
change all file names to the old forms, and post updated cd02-rev3 documents
with the old forms of the file names.
1) is least effort but does mean that the latest URLs are not of the same
form as the current ones. Lets discuss this on Thursday and agree
what the TC wants to do with this.

Hi Simon,
The URLs for latest are not intended to be changed once established.
I maintain a single set of symlinks for each specification.

So in order to support the new spelling of the latest URLs, I agree that
we should not change the existing documents. That means that we need
to:
1) make the existing latest URLs point at the CD02 versions of the documents.
I assume you would have to do that anyway.
2) create new latest URLs that point at the CD02 versions of the documents.
This does entail some duplication of work if it not possible to
redirect the URLs in 1) to these as a one-off process.

It has nothing to do with Kavi; these files are in a separate web
space. It's an IT decision / access / management issue.
