Laurent Domenech: TC Schedule
Laurent Domenech: April 1st meeting is cancelled
Laurent Domenech: BINDINGS-124
Laurent Domenech: Anish sent version of 2 of proposal
Laurent Domenech: Mike notes that we don't have any requirement in the spec of WS-Policy, and it would be a thing to add
Laurent Domenech: Dave comments that the section must be read from a non SCA context and he is fine with that perspective
Laurent Domenech: Dave does not want to change anything in 5.1 but would like to clarify what it means in the context of a SCA runtime
Laurent Domenech: Anish mentions that 6.4 says that an SCA runtime claiming to support that protocol must be compliant with regard to WSCB service
Laurent Domenech: Anish is describing Eric's comments
Simon Holdsworth: Eric's comments and Anish's responses in email http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/sca-bindings/201003/msg00066.html
Laurent Domenech: Simon proposes a non normative statement in section 5 that would describe what a non SCA runtime can do
Laurent Domenech: Anish notes that some extra meta data (WSDL, policy, ...) will be exchanged in order to implement the non SCA runtime that would be enough to determine SOAP version
Laurent Domenech: Anish answer for the HTTP/HTTPS comment from Eric is the same than for SOAP version
anish: The WSCallback policy assertion indicates that the Web service client and the Web service MUST use SCA Web Services Callback Protocol to implement callbacks.
anish: so it would be:
anish: The WSCallback policy assertion indicates that the Web service Callback client and the Web service Callback service MUST use SCA Web Services Callback Protocol to implement callbacks.
Laurent Domenech: Anish notes that implementing the WSCB protocol is orthogonal to understanding WS-policy, a non SCA client could implement the protocol without understanding WS-policy
anish: The WSCallback policy assertion indicates that the WSCB Client and the WSCB Service MUST use SCA Web Services Callback Protocol to implement callbacks.
Laurent Domenech: [Simon] As part of resolution of 124, the normative statement must be fixed
anish: for BWS50010
Laurent Domenech: [Anish] The policy assertion will be available through an attachment to the WSDL or WS-mex
Laurent Domenech: [Anish] BWS50013 is not for the client but for the WSDL
Laurent Domenech: [Anish] BWS50014 applies to the document the policy is attached to
Laurent Domenech: [Simon] what are the next steps? New proposal?
Laurent Domenech: [Anish] we need new issues raised for the comment about BWS50013 and BWS50014
Laurent Domenech: [Anish] a new explanatory text for the proposal and editorial changes
Laurent Domenech: [Anish] moves to resolve BINDINGS-124 with V2 of the proposal with the following changes
anish: The WSCallback policy assertion indicates that the WSCB Client and the WSCB Service MUST use SCA Web Services Callback Protocol to implement callbacks.
anish: I'll move to resolve issue 124 with the v2 proposal that I sent out + replace BWS5010 with "The WSCallback policy assertion indicates that the WSCB Client and the WSCB Service MUST use SCA Web Services Callback Protocol to implement callbacks." + open a new issue on targets for policy assertion + new ed. AIs to fix Eric's ed issues and Dave's issue
Laurent Domenech: Martin seconds
Laurent Domenech: No discussions, no objections, issue 124 is resolved
Laurent Domenech: 2 editorial action items for Eric editorial issues and Dave issue
Laurent Domenech: action items for Anish
Laurent Domenech: Dave will provide help for those action items
Laurent Domenech: Next call in two weeks
