Discuss exit criteria for the Bindings TC for v1.1 of the specifications and potential impacts on the specifications resulting from discussions in other TCs. In particular around optional parts of the specification and MAY/SHOULD statements.
Ashok (Oracle): Anish: Really about *untested* optional parts
Ashok (Oracle): Bryan: Also, inadequately implemented assertions
Eric Johnson: From the charter: "The TC shall define concrete exit criteria that include at least two independent offerings that implement and are compliant with the all normative portions of specifications and demonstrate interoperability and portability as appropriate. Note that these are minimums and that the TC is free to set more stringent criteria. "
Ashok (Oracle): Discussion about examining each MAY and SHOULD is the specs
Ashok (Oracle): Anish: This is being discussed in the Assembly TC. Let's wait and see where that goes.
anish: +1 to Bryan
Ashok (Oracle): Bryan: We should examine the MAY and SHOULD statements.
Ashok (Oracle): ACTION: Simon to examine MAY and SHOULD statements in the JMS Binding spec
Ashok (Oracle): ACTION: Anish to examine MAY and SHOULD statements in the WS Binding spec
