[12:12] Bryan Aupperle: Resolution: Motion passes
[12:16] Bryan Aupperle: Anish: We have to have a single file to approve as a CSD, i.e. We have to a single zip containing both the testcases document and the test cases zip.
[12:22] Bryan Aupperle: Motion: Bryan, second Anish - Accept WD041 of the Web Services binding spec as CSD5

[12:34] Bryan Aupperle: Eric: Should we be approving a version with all the changes accepted?
[12:37] Bryan Aupperle: Simon: That may force some editing to test case documents because cross references and sections being removed resulting in ToC changes.
[12:38] Bryan Aupperle: Simon: So we should do the editorial work before voting CSDs.
[12:38] Bryan Aupperle: Anish: Does this apply to the specs as well?
[12:38] Bryan Aupperle: Simon: Yes
[12:39] Bryan Aupperle: AI: (Editors) produce updated versions of all documents with all changes accepted.
[12:39] anish: nice
[12:40] Bryan Aupperle: Eric: The JMS URI scheme is now a RFC.
[12:40] Simon Holdsworth: [IETFJMS]M. Phillips, P. Adams, D. Rokicki, E. Johnson, URI Scheme for Java Message Service 1.0 http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-merrick-jms-uri-12, IETF Internet-Draft January 20, 2011, pending publication of final approved version
[12:40] anish eric, does that mean you can turn off your cron reminder job
[12:41] Eric Johnson yes.
[12:42] Bryan Aupperle: AI: (Eric) Raise issue to update the JMS URI scheme reference.
[12:42] Bryan Aupperle: We will revisit both specs next meeting.
[12:43] Bryan Aupperle: Topic: Exit Criteria
[12:44] Simon Holdsworth: Most recent proposal was:
[12:44] Simon Holdsworth: The Concrete Exit Criteria for the SCA JMS Binding V1.1 specification are that: 1) there shall be at least 2 independent SCA runtimes each of which are compliant with all normative portions of the specification as described in Section 8.2 of the SCA JMS Binding V1.1 specification. 2) each implementation should provide evidence of interop/portability, as appropriate. Passing the testsuite is considered sufficient to satisfy this criterion.
[12:46] Simon Holdsworth: The Concrete Exit Criteria for the SCA JMS Binding V1.1 specification are that there shall be at least 2 independent SCA runtimes, each of which are compliant with all normative portions of the specification as described in Section 8.2 of the SCA JMS Binding V1.1 specification, and each of which demonstrates interoperability and portability as appropriate."
[12:47] Bryan Aupperle: Simon: The second statement in the above proposal seems more like it is directed to SCA runtime developers than the TC itself. And it is the TC that is the exit criteria applies to.
[12:50] Bryan Aupperle: Anish: Does anyone disagree that passing the test suite would be viewed as evidence of a runtime satisfactorily conforming to the spec and demonstrating portability/interop?
[12:51] Bryan Aupperle: Anish: I specifically said sufficient and not necessary evidence.
[12:52] Bryan Aupperle: Simon: Would this bind us to accepting passing the test suite as meaning an implementation is conformance?
[12:53] Bryan Aupperle: Anish: We are always able to evaluate additional information if/when it becomes available.
[12:57] anish: The Concrete Exit Criteria for the SCA JMS Binding V1.1 specification are that: 1) there shall be at least 2 independent SCA runtimes each of which are compliant with all normative portions of the specification as described in Section 8.2 of the SCA JMS Binding V1.1 specification. 2) each implementation should provide evidence of interop/portability, as appropriate. Passing the testsuite is considered sufficient to satisfy this criterion.
[12:57] Bryan Aupperle: Motion: Anish, second Ashok - Accept text immediately above in the chat log as the exit criteria
[12:58] Bryan Aupperle: for the JMS binding 1.1 specification
[12:59] anish ping
[13:00] Bryan Aupperle: Motion fails ( 2 yes, 2 no, 1 abstain)
