Ongoing

New Issues

http://osoa.org/jira/browse/BPEL-60
Removal of constrainingType from SCA-BPEL specification

Dieter moves to open issue 60, Mike 2nds
Resolution: issue 60 is opened

passed w/o

Dieter goes over the proposal in jira

Anish queries the wording in the proposal.
<Dieter Koenig>
Implement an SCA Component Type. It should be possible to use WS-BPEL to implement any SCA Component Type that uses only WSDL interfaces to define
services and references, possibly with some SCA specific extensions used in process definition.

After reconsideration Anish is happy.

Dieter moves to resolve issue 60 with proposal in Jira, 2nd Anish

passed w/o
Resolution: issue 60 is resolved with the proposal in JIRA

Testing

<anish>
sanjay looks like you had a late night
Sanjay:
we now have enough info to start the SCA BPEL specfic testing work
<anish>

Sanjay goes over his doc attached to link above
<anish>
i have a conference running at conference.oracle.com id: 161687972
<anish>
you have to use IE unfortunately

we need namespaces for our asserstions/test case ids, its getting confusing between TCs

purpose of the doc is to identity which sca assmbly test cases can be reused for bpel c+i test case work

will hence identify the gaps that this TC needs to work on from scratch
<anish>
btw, if we miss a few tests that already cover our TA in assembly and end up writing test cases, that's not too bad. Extra/over-lapping tests don't hurt us
Sanjay:
there are about 40 test assertions, so might be better to divide and conquor

Volunteers needed!

Mike will get one or two in place to provide a structure and help others

Issues

Issue 56 - No scoping rules specified to resolve variable name referred by sca-bpel:multiRefForm extension for the partner link
Proposal in Jira
<anish>
proposal -- Add a note in section 3.2 where sca-bpel:multiRefForm extension is declared stating:
The variable name referred by sca-bpel:multiRefForm can be resolved using the same scoping rules as BPEL uses to resolve variable names.

Najeeb goes over his proposal
<anish>
Description:
Spec does not say that in-order to resolve variable name referred by sca-bpel:multiRefFrom extension for the partner link it must follow the same scoping rules to resolve variable name as BPEL.
Anish:
suggests text should be normative: change can be to MUST be
<anish>
modified proposal -- The variable name referred by sca-bpel:multiRefForm MUST be resolved using the same scoping rules as BPEL uses to resolve variable names.
<Dieter Koenig>
[WS-[WS-BPEL]]

editors to add a normative label

Everytime we add a new normative statment need to update the TA doc!

Anish moves to resolve 56 with text above and editors to assign label and figure out reference to WS-BPEL
<anish>
the text should go in section 3.2

2nd Najeeb

Passed w/o
Sanjay:
need to create a corresponding test assertion
Resolution: issue 56 is resolved by adding the following to section 3.2: "The variable name referred by sca-bpel:multiRefForm MUST be resolved using the same scoping rules as [WS-BPEL] uses to resolve variable names." with instructions to the editors to give a label to the normative stmt and clean it up
Action: Najeeb to create a test asserion for the new statement as result of resolving issue-56
Sanjay:
also noted that 2004.1 does not have a test assertion, as a result of a recent resolution.
Action: Najeed to create a test assertion for 2004.1

Issue 46: anish will have a look

Issue 57: probably close no action but put on next weeks agenda

Issue 58: need inlined changes, or let editors do it. Discuss next week
Action: Anish to look into issue 46
