RE: [sca-bpel] Instructions on how to download and run the BPEL Testcases with Apache Tuscany

I think Mike, Anish and I need to spend some time together to get the
initial setup issues sorted out quickly. The email exchanges across time
zones to figure out what may be a simple configuration change does not
seem to be very productive, imho.

Since coordinating the schedules of the three of us is going to be
tricky and since the main remaining work item for the TC is testing, how
about we spend the second half of tomorrow's (Thu - 2/25) TC meeting on
sorting out the testing set up issues! Of course, those who are not
intimately interested in these discussions may drop off after the first
half hour (we won't be conducting any normal TC business during the
second half hour).

I found two issues:

1) minor one: the instructions talk about the build.xml file in a way 
that leads one to think that there is a build.xml in SVN, whereas one is

supposed to copy/modify/save the build.xml from the instruction.

2) The two files:
sca-bpel/TestCases/Test_client_SBPEL/src/main/resources/oasis-sca-tests.
properties
sca-bpel/TestCases/Test_client_SBPEL/target/classes/oasis-sca-tests.prop
erties

have a hard-coded value for the property 
"org.oasis.sca.tests.assembly.contribution.location" (set to 
"file:/C:/OASIS_TESTS/SCA-BPEL/TestCases/%1/target/classes/"). This, 
obviously, has to be customized.


Once I had the setup right (or think I got it right), I ran ant and got 
the following error:

     [junit] Exception during startup: java.lang.ClassCastException: 
org.apache.tuscany.sca.assembly.impl.ExtensionImpl cannot be cast to 
org.apache.tuscany.sca.contribution.ContributionMetadata
     [junit] Exception received during startup - detail: 
java.lang.ClassCastException: 
org.apache.tuscany.sca.assembly.impl.ExtensionImpl cannot be cast to 
org.apache.tuscany.sca.contribution.ContributionMetadata
