Subject: Re: [sca-c-cpp] ISSUE 42: WSDL/C roundtripping

This is what I believe is the
final draft. It reflects our discussion in the last call as well
as cleaning up some of the conformance point text. I have also added conformance
point identifiers to the table of applicable JAX-WS conformance points
(to allow these to be referenced by test assertions, and completed the
table for the simple type conversions.
For the simple type conversions, SDO defines how things like IDREFS can
be converted to a sting and back,. In the general case Decimal and
Integer have to map to strings. Finally, for the sake of completeness
I have mapped anySimpleObject to void * - it is not perfect, but would
probably work in most cases.

Latest draft. Mostly cleanup and incorporating last week's discussions/decisions.
I have also updated the WSDL extension schema to as most of the problems.
Open topics:
- Type mapping customization
- Adapter location
- WSDL extension schema
New topic:
- The wording in the JAX-WS spec requires support of annotations and wsdl
extension. As of this draft, we have those conformance points listed
as applying. This is inconsistent with our current statement that
annotation support is optional.

Third draft. This one adds a pass at the JAX-WS conformance points
table data. (I have not added the SOAP Binding conformance points
from JAX-WS - do we need these?) and fixes a couple of the conformance
statements that has circular references.

Second integration draft. This one covers text formatting, fixes
references, moves the wsdl extension schema, fixes some schema errors,
uses correct quoration mark characters in all code and WSDL spippets, and
adds the conformance points in section 11.
Still to go are the tables relating to JAX-WS conformance points (the ones
in now are place holders), final location of the Data binding section,
reconciliation of @oneway and resolution of some of the existing comments

First pass at integration into spec. document.
This is essentially a cut/paste effort into proposed locations. The
significant changes are adding sca-c:bindings elements to the examples
and updating URLs.
Formatting the new text to be consistent with existing text, fixing references,
etc, remains to be done, as does reconciliation of @oneway and resolution
of some of the existing comments.
As David pointed out, some of the section numbers have changed meaning
that some of the conformance point numbers are now inconsistent with their
location in the document. I believe that until we start writing test
assertions, that changing the conformance point numbers is relatively painless
and it would be better for them to reflect the correct section numbers.
We should talk about that this week.

Another update, fleshing out the examples. Change bars are cumulative
from last week so this replaces my Monday draft.
