Subject:
| [sca-c-cpp] NEW ISSUE: Precedence of
code artifacts |
Target C++ and C C&I Specs (CD
03 Rev 4 of each)
Description: Section 11 has the text:
For code artifacts related to this specification,
the specification text is considered to be authoritative and takes precedence
over the code artifacts.
This text is in conflict with the updated OASIS TC process, approved last
year, which states that external documents such as schema, code, etc) take
precedence over specification text.
Proposal: revise the wording to:
Normative code artifacts related to this specification
are considered to be authoritative and take precedence over specification
text.
