Subject: ISSUE 33: Description of @Reference annotation is Incorrect
- From: "Barack, Ron" <ron.barack@sap.com>
- To: "Mike Edwards" <mike_edwards@uk.ibm.com>, "OASIS Java" <sca-j@lists.oasis-open.org>
- Date: Mon, 31 Mar 2008 14:11:30 +0200
RAISER: Mike Edwards
TARGET: Java Common Annotations and
APIs Specification
DESCRIPTION:
The
specification currently describes the @Reference annotation as applying to a
"setter method parameter" in lines 82/83
- this is incorrect and contradicts other parts
of the specification which deal with @Reference.
PROPOSAL:
Change lines 82/83 to read:
"Accessing a service
using reference injection is done by defining a field,
a setter method, or a constructor parameter, typed by the
service interface
and annotated with an
@Reference annotation."
Yours, Mike.
