Subject: Re: [sca-j] Latest Java CAA Draft - with 8.6.2 removed
I have reviewed this document and made some minor editorial changes inline as tracked changes to create rev8a, which I have posted here: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/sca-j/download.php/32360/sca-javacaa-1.1-spec-cd02-rev8a.doc http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/sca-j/download.php/32361/sca-javacaa-1.1-spec-cd02-rev8a.pdf The changes I made are as follows: section 1: corrected inconsistency introduced by wd08 changes section 2.3: fixed typo "implemementation" section 2.3.1: corrected formatting error in hyperlink text section 2.3.1: fixed capitalization in hyperlink text section 2.3.1: corrected target of hyperlink section 3.1: fixed missing space between words section 6: corrected text of hyperlink section 7.1: corrected text of hyperlink section 7.2.1: fixed smart quotes in code section 8: corrected target of hyperlink section 8.5: fixed smart quotes in code section 8.1: fixed smart quotes in code section 8.2.1: fixed smart quotes in string literal section 8.5: put EBNF in non-code font section 8.6.1: fixed smart quotes in string literals section 9.1: fixed smart quotes in code section 9.2: corrected text of hyperlink section 10.15: deleted stray "However" left over from wd08 edit and capitalized the first letter of JCA90011 section 10.17: changed 200712 to 200903 in namespace (twice) section 10.17: fixed smart quotes in code section 12.1: added "SCA" before second occurrence of "ComponentType Document" for consistency with other references in the same paragraph JCA90008: fixed typo "@Initi" JCA90021: changed double blank to single blank JCA90047: fixed "the the" Other changes: I updated the title page to say Rev 08a I updated the revision history I changed the font size in Appendix B to 9-point because the previous 8-point size was causing all conformance statements to show up in the main text in the PDF file in a smaller font than the surrounding text I rebuilt the TOC (needed to get the correct section titles in TOC) Non-editorial comments for which I will raise new issues to be treated as public review comments: 1. section 10.4: need a normative statement saying that the field or setter method MUST be of type String. 2. section 10.12: Need to say what happens if both the value and targetNamespace/localPart attributes are specified. Does one take priority over the other, or is this illegal? 3. section 10.21: "interfaces" multiplicity is listed as 1..1 (should be 0..1) and "value" multiplicity is not stated. I will raise an issue suggesting that these don't need to be separate attributes and should be merged.
