Subject: Re: [sca-j] ISSUE-107: RFC2119 Language is needed for the EJB BindingSpecification - proposal v2 - REVIEW

Dave,

Here is a review of the proposal - couple of errors found, plus some requests for extra normative statements:

Thanks for the feedback and the quick review.

I've moved BSB80001 into 8.1 and reworked accordingly so TC members can see what that looks like.

On your point about not labelling the MUST in section 8. Let's talk about this on the call today, because I'd like to understand the rationale. I had never noticed (before doing this EJB binding spec) that none of the conformance sections we've written to date had those MUSTs labelled. That seemed odd to me (because it seems inconsistent) so Mike E and I had a discussion. Turns out, he is intending to label the statements in the assembly spec, so I did the same here.

One minor feedback:

Instead of BSB80001 we should add a requirement in 8.1 that says that an
SCA EJB SBB XML doc must conform to the schema. Then BSB8005 would cover
BSB80001. The advantage of adding that requirement is that then the
requirement is on the document.
(I know what you have done is exactly what we did for other bindings. So
it would have to be fixed there as well).

Also, the musts in section 8 should not be labeled.
