2. Should we start looking at the JEE specification again?

In the last call, we discussed whether it is time to start looking at the JEE specification again.
   - Should we start looking at the JEE specificaiton?
   - Should we "undefer" the JEE issues and start working on them?

** Note: The rest of the agenda is written assuming that the TC decides ***
** to "undefer" the JEE specification. If it does not then skip to ***
** item 7 on the agenda. ***

[10:36] Bryan Aupperle: Mike reviews proposal
[10:43] Bryan Aupperle: Ashok: Is the optionality on a runtime by runtime basis or reference by reference basis?
[10:43] Bryan Aupperle: Mike: runtime by runtime basis
[10:44] Bryan Aupperle: Mike: RFC 2119 language should make this clearer.
[10:44] Bryan Aupperle: Ashok: So if implemented then it would apply to all references?
[10:45] Bryan Aupperle: Mike: yes
[10:46] Bryan Aupperle: Dave: There are some difference between 7.1.1/7.1.2 and 7.1.3 since 7.1.3 deals with an entire ear file and 7.1.17.1.2 do not.
[10:47] Bryan Aupperle: Mike: Use case deals with enhancing an EJB application by say wiring to an BPEL process.
[10:48] Bryan Aupperle: Dave: I am concerned with applying introspection rules to not just ears but also modules within an ear.
[10:50] Bryan Aupperle: Plamen: I do not recall if we made a deliberate distinction or not.
[10:50] Bryan Aupperle: Dave: Proposal certainly improves consistency.
[10:53] Vamsi: a second to the motion Bryan
[10:54] Bryan Aupperle: Motion: Mike, second - Resolve Java 89 with the proposal in Jira. Line number for first insertion is the start of bullet 2 in 7.1.1 and the line number for the second insertion is the start of the first bullt point in section 7.1.2
