anish: Bryan explains his proposal

Mark Combellack: If you are just trying to join the conference - we have
moved number see above

anish: Did a complete survey of JAX-WS annotations and looked at each
annotation and its properties and analyzed its impact on the mapping

anish: This is in section 11.1

anish: text in bold has an impact on mapping

anish: what i have not yet done is, not talked about the fact that the
jax-ws annotations have to be processed

anish: * The meeting is now quorate *

anish: Bryan discusses the text in bold

Mark Combellack: 6 of 9 voting members now on call

anish: Anish: ed issue about MUST and JCA100010

anish: ... what does wsdlLocation do and how does one know which
portType, for example, one should use

Mike Edwards: I've dropped

Mike Edwards: redialling

Mike Edwards: back

anish: ... wrt @webMethod what happens if a method is excluded, this
affects the wiring rules that we currently have for java-to-java
matching. Need to have to reference from the wiring rules section to here

anish: Anish: question about @WebParam, how does the header work for
round tripping

anish: Bryan: JAX-WS takes care of that

anish: Bryan explains Table 11-2

anish: Bryan: do folks like this direction and should we flesh out all
the details

Mike Edwards: I am having real trouble keeping on the call

anish: Anish: i agree that this is the right direction

anish: Mark: this is now becoming complex

Mike Edwards: I would not encourage people to use this

anish: Anish: we need to decide whether we do want to follow Jax-WS,
which is what we currently say, or create expections

Mike Edwards: but if interfaces are already written this way...

anish: Mark: is complex, but hasn't quite reached a 'too complex' point

anish: Mike: if folks have these kind of interfaces then we need to
decide what to do. But should not encourage folks to use this

anish: Anish: i see two options: either follow all the rules that jax-ws
defined. It is the definitive way to map to WSDL in the java-world or
say that we don't support certain JAX-WS annotations in SCA and reject
the classes

anish: Mike: need to think about supporting classes created using say AXIS

anish: Bryan: need to do more ed clean, and some other specs need
corresponding changes

anish: ... will wait making those till we have an agreement on what to
do here

anish: Mark: pl. go ahead and do that (changes to the proposal)

anish: Topic: approval of minutes

anish: - Approval of minutes for 28th September 2009 and 2nd October 2009

anish: both minutes are approved w/o

anish: Topic: issue 150/173/175

anish: a. JAVA-150: SCA Spring C & I specification need to mention how
SCA runtime should load multiple application context files.
JAVA-173: SCA Spring C & I specification should mention how implicit
services should be determined for special bean definitions
JAVA-175: SCA Spring C & I specification should use "id" of the bean to
uniquely identify a bean instead of its name

Latest proposal containing updates for JAVA-150, JAVA-173 and JAVA-175 (Ram)
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/34575/sca-springci-1.1-spec-WD04-Issue173-175-150_v2.doc
(Ram)

anish: Ram explains his proposal

Mike Edwards: which paragraph???

anish: line 407 in my version of word

Mark Combellack: I'm lookin at lines 388

Mark Combellack: second to last paragraph in 2.4

Mark Combellack lowered your hand

anish: Anish: what does 'must not allow' mean

anish: Ram: should throw an error

anish: Anish: in sca spec, in such cases, we make the artifact
non-conformant and require SCA runtime to generate an error

anish: Mark: we need to correst the 'must not allow' language

anish: Anish: there is nothing mandatory here

anish: Mike: they are mentioned elsewhere

Ramkumar R: got dropped off... will dial back

Mark Combellack: ok

anish: Anish: SPR40005 and SPR40006 seem to be the 2119 language for
multipel context

anish: Mike: For issue 150, it is just changes to section 2.4

Mark Combellack: My question is what changes in the document are related
to each individual issue

anish: Mike: changes for 173 are in section 3

anish: Mike: 175 is just one line in section 3 "@name attribute value is
the value of the @id attribute of the <bean/> element if setpresent,
otherwise it is the first name from the value of @name attribute of the
<bean/> element"

anish mike, the voice quality is very bad

Mike Edwards: its worse than that - it has dropped completely

Mike Edwards: again

Mike Edwards: I give up sice it is nearly on the hour

anish: Mark: for next call, I'll tee up 173 and 175 first as it is much
smaller and then proceed to 150

anish: Topic: AOB and straggler roll

anish: no AOB

anish: Meeting adjourned
