Subject: Issue 16 - Targetting policySetsto binding.sca
Hi Simon: On today's SCA Policy TC Telcon we discussed issue 16 which you had raised. This issue says: Provide a consistent means of defining a policy that applies to certain forms of WSDL binding irrespective of whether the binding is supplied in a WSDL document or via a sub-binding element. Note that a policySets can already target specific WSDL bindings, using XPath's document() function. The problem is that it is inconsistent with the XPath that would be written if, for example, <binding.ws><soaphttp> is used to define the binding. Since you were not on the call we did not make much progress on this issue. Do you have a proposal? Do you want to say a bit more about what the problem is? -- All the best, Ashok
