Subject: Re: [sca-policy] Intents attached to WSDL

Ashok,

I would like to get all the Policy related statements in Assembly moved out and into the Policy spec.

I would be happy to help steer the necessary Issue through the Assembly TC.

Subject: [sca-policy] Intents attached to WSDL

The Assembly spec says:
Any service or reference that uses an interface marked with intents MUST
implicitly add those intents to its own @requires list. [ASM80008]

The corresponding statement in the Policy Spec is not as clear or
definitive.  So, a few questions:

1. Should this be moved to the Policy Spec?  Or, at least we should have
an equivalent statement in the Policy Spec.
2. Why isn't there a corresponding WSDL extension for policySets?
3. WS-Policy defines a WSDL extension for WS-Policy.  Thus, users can
attach policies in WS-Policy syntax to WSDL interfaces.  What should SCA
do about them?

All the best, Ashok
