Subject:

[sca-policy] NEW ISSUE: EJB Binding spec has defined a new intent - EJB

TARGET: SCA Policy FW spec, CD02/PR01

DESCRIPTION:
Issue JAVA-170 [1] was resolved on July 24 which introduced a new intent called EJB. It is similar to how the JMS intent behaves, in that it dictates the usage of a certain binding.

PROPOSAL:

Add the following to the Miscellaneous Intents chapter:

EJB – The EJB intent specifies that whatever wire-level transport technology is specified the messages are able to be delivered and
received via the EJB API. When EJB is present, an SCA Runtime MUST ensure that the binding used
to send and receive messages supports the EJB API. [POL10000x]
