sdd message

I guess I'd ask if there is any other way a "resource" could be put on
media other than as a file?  Generalization is useful only if there are
other alternatives, otherwise it's simply obscuring.

I propose that we use "resources" to be the catch-all term.  We have
specific definitions where we need specific context.
