Subject: Re: [sdd] Groups - SDD Specification Draft (SDD Specification Draft.doc) uploaded

I was working with that assumption also - until about a week ago. Now I'm hearing that the xsd is a preferred implementation but not part of the specification. The distinctions seem subtle and the implications for our work unclear but probably minor. I bet a short conversation in the next meeting could clear this up.

Re: [sdd] Groups - SDD Specification Draft (SDD Specification Draft.doc) uploaded

Did I hear that right?  The XSD (XML Schema) is not part of the SDD
specification?  I understand why graphics can't be part of the normative
part of the spec (after all, it's duplicative) but the XSD is not
part of it either?  I thought it was the ultimate and primary
output of the TC...
