When the OASIS SCA-Assembly TC  was formed, it was noted that a portion of their proposed charter seemed to overlap with the scope of the SDD standard. It was noted at the time the SCA-Assembly TC was formed that discussions should ensue to determine if any affinity, alignment, reuse or other positioning could be determined and leveraged between SCA-Assembly (deployment portion) and SDD.
