Ron's suggestions sound good to me. I was planning to describe the XML-centric use case as part of the "XML & SDO" session. No demo, but I'll try to explain the scenario where SDO is being used as an XML programming API. Frank. Do we have 3 companies that have volunteered to do demos (BTW, if there are any open slots, I'm *always* ready to do a demo: in this case, the use of SDO in SCA wiring). Personally, I think discussion of use-cases will be a bit more enlightening. Who else is willing to do demos/ present use-cases? In any case, I would suggest breaking the demos up and, in any case, having them earlier in the day. Justification is that the demos (interesting though they are) are more "missable" by those in another timezone. The timeslots later in the day, when people on the west coast have a chance of tuning in, should be reserved for discussion of essential topics. How about making a demo/ use-case discussion as the first agenda item on each day. And also, how about shifting the whole thing one hour later (so, from 10am - 6pm). Also, it is pretty unlikely that I will be able to travel, so a 7:30 EST start is a bit of a challenge. What about splitting this slot in two and having the language part starting at 2:15 CET? The proposal is to leave out some straight-forward topics to make room for those requiring discussion amongst group members. Each session is 1.5hrs which includes a presentation of the topic and the TC discussion. Currently the schedule has 2 hours of unassigned time that could be filled with demos and/or other sessions. Since the final conference call before the F2F is Dec 18th, I would like to have the schedule finalized by that date.
