Regarding to the discussion in the call I agree to Radu that we should decide at first if we relax the constraints on type.

In my opinion it is easier for the user to find a property with a duplicate name by iterating over the types properties than finding a property that is renamed by a difficult algorithm.

Duplicate names can also occur if we have elements or attributes with the same name but with different namespace prefixes. I think, allowing duplicate property names would be a good way to solve problems with such schemas.

May be, it is a good idea to open a new issue about relaxing the type constraints.
